Here are the two options for a table top cooker. I started out with the butane cooker but I moved over to the induction cooker a couple months after my initial video. The key thing with the induction is you have to use induction compatible cookwear. It has to be magnetic.

- The auto-pan detection will shut the unit automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware is detected; equipped with diagnostic error message system, low and high voltage warning system; ETL approved.
- Note: In order to use this and any other induction stove, you need to use cookware with a magnetic bottom, whose diameter is at least 5 inches. 2-year manufacturers warranty, as well as customer service.

You can use just about any shallow pot to put your broth in but they also have pans made specifically for doing hotpot and shabu shabu. They tend to be stonewear but for daily use, we want stainless steel, or at the very least, something that works on an induction cooker if you are using one.
